Gracefully suspended from a sterling silver chain, this necklace features a hand-carved natural nephrite jade Lu Lu Tong (路路通 Lùlùtōng). Crafted from natural nephrite jade (和田玉 Hétián Yù), its smooth cylindrical form is adorned with traditional openwork carvings, reflecting centuries of Eastern craftsmanship and cultural heritage.
The name Lu Lu Tong (路路通) literally means "every road leads through" or "a smooth path in every direction." In East Asian culture, it symbolizes an unhindered journey through life, where opportunities, prosperity, and happiness flow freely. The hollow center allows the pendant to move gently along the chain, beautifully expressing the continuous movement of life and the freedom to move forward.
Its rich green color, silky luster, and refined carving highlight the quiet elegance for which nephrite has been treasured for thousands of years.
