People's imagination and efforts have changed the way of thinking about jewelry making with natural pearls. The beautiful and unique Faceted Pearl was born.
Komatsu Diamond Japan pioneered this technique and it took 20 years to successfully test it.
Initially only high quality cultured pearls were cut. Today, all Tahitian Pearls, South Sea Pearls, Akoya Pearls and Freshwater Pearls are cut faceted.
